I've been to this restaurant years ago and remembered it to be a strange atmosphere and nothing memorable with the food. Gave it another try on our trip this year, and was very pleasantly surprised. The decor is improved, and the space doesn't feel as open and weird. Every piece of food I had was delicious - the complimentary hush puppies, pesto shrimp pasta, and most delicious was the grits. Best grits I've had on the island so far (maybe ever?). Overall great experience!
I’ve been visiting Edisto Isalnd for nearly 7 years and I never went to the Waterfront! I finally went last Sunday!! This place was awesome!! Good food!! Good vibe!! Clean and super friendly staff. Will be back for sure!!!!
I typically order fried seafood at the waterfront. It is pretty good. The fries they serve with it...blah. I mean they might as well be Ore Ida frozen french fries. Just are not good. Cole slaw is passable but could be improved.
All you can eat oysters on Fridays. Perfectly prepared; the best I've ever had, sweet and salty. Chef and new steamer did a wonderful job. Great service Lisa and Troy.
Excellent food (we ordered veggie alfredo and grouper) and great service. Thanks for a lovely meal. Will definitely be back!
