Work there cleaning houses with my daughter
Waiting to check in at 4!! Mind you, the time of this review is 4:15!! The people just came at 4 to clean the house! They don't know how long it will take sooo, we are stuck outside!! Will not be using them again!! Great start to a much needed vacation!!
Checked into our villa and walked in and the room wasn't cleaned. Edisto realty quickly upgraded us and handled it extremely well. Very nice people to deal with. If you are thinking about vacationing in the area I highly recommend them!
My husband and I were at Edisto July 14-16th for a weekend. We talked to Haley to make our reservations. We arrived late on a Friday evening around 8:30. Our room had never been cleaned. The bed was a total mess, spread in middle of unmade sheets, dirty towels in washing machine, and dirty ones hanging on shower rod. Dishwasher with dirty dishes in it. Hair and sand all over floor. Trash cans were all full! We had to go back to Bi-Lo to buy disinfectants and laundry detergent. Washing and drying towels and sheets until 2 am. We left messages at Edisto and an email was sent to Haley. A maid knocked on our door next morning handed us sheets and left. No call from Haley or Edisto Realty from a manager to apologize, etc. Haley did apologize by email. No partial refund, etc. The customer service is not what it used to be. I would not recommend them anymore because of the nasty situation we walked in this last visit. We have given them 6 week's to respond. Totally unacceptable.
We rented a home called Sea Urchin. The location was good, ocean front. The house was very dated. It did not look like the pictures shown. There were Cobb webs on the wall hangings above the kitchen sink and on the ceiling fans. There was no central air conditioning, just window units that were noisy when trying to sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable and mattresses looked old. There were also what appeared to be blood stains on the hardwood floors. We paid for a full week, but ended up leaving early bc I honestly couldn't sleep another night in that bed. Would be a nice place if deep cleaned and updated. We will not be staying here again.
