Great local farm market with extras! They have tons of homemade treats and meals and desserts. Definitively a must stop on your way to or from Edisto Island. And if you're staying on the island, worth the drive to pick up dinner!
King's Market is our first stop and our last stop on our annual trek to Edisto Beach. The food is locally grown/caught and the staff is like extended family. We can't get thru the week without Breakfast Quiche, Seafood Casserole, Crab Cakes, and Key Lime Pie and/or Peaches and Cream Pound Cake. As we leave the island, we stock up on She Crab Soup and another casserole for dinner when we get home. But don't go by our preferences ... as they say: It's all good!
Great variety of homemade country classics like apple butter, preserves, take and bake casseroles, chicken pot pie and deserts. A nice selection of gorgeous produce from low country farms. Very friendly family. Best of all- ice-cold, glass bottled soda make this a 'gotta-stop' on the way to or from Edisto.
They have great shrimp and oysters and Specialty dips as well as pre-made meals
